23-Year-Old Nabbed in North London Terror Probe

Met Police’s Counter Terrorism Command swooped on a 23-year-old man in north London on Sunday, 1 December. He’s been arrested for failing to meet notification rules under the Counter Terrorism Act 2008.

Locked Up Under PACE

The suspect is being held at a south London police station under the Police and Criminal Evidence Act (PACE). Cops are keeping him in custody as investigations continue.

No Link to London Bridge Attack

Detectives stress this arrest has no connection to the London Bridge terror attack which shook the city on 29 November. The probe into this man began well before that tragic event.
