Man Knocked Out in Daytime Assault on Bircotes Street
Police rushed to Droversdale Road, Bircotes just before 1.30pm on Saturday (18 March) after a man was found unconscious following an attack.
Victim Suffers Head Wounds and Broken Cheekbone
The victim needed stitches for head injuries and suffered a fractured cheek in the brutal assault.
Police Launch Appeal for Witnesses
PC Jon Evans of Nottinghamshire Police urged anyone who saw the incident to come forward. He said:
“This was a nasty assault that resulted in a man suffering head injuries and needing to go to hospital.
We’re following up CCTV and speaking to locals, but we need the public’s help.
There were likely many people around when this happened, so please contact us if you witnessed anything.
Thankfully, the injuries were not more serious, but we’re doing all we can to find those responsible.
