13-Year-Old Girl Targeted by Silver Car Driver in Swindon
A terrified 13-year-old girl has come forward after being repeatedly followed by an elderly man driving a small silver car. The incidents, spanning several locations in Swindon, have left her feeling threatened and scared.
Stalking Spree Across Swindon Suburbs
The disturbing episodes took place in Penhill, Pinehurst, Moredon, Rodbourne, and Cheney Manor. Although the man never approached or harmed the girl, his persistent tailing has caused significant distress.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
Local Crime Investigator Hayley Beales from the Swindon Community Policing Team said:
“While we have made an arrest as part of our investigation, we need to speak to any potential witnesses who may be able to assist us. This young girl has been made to feel very afraid by the behaviour of this man and this has been a repeated pattern of behaviour over a period of time.
“If you believe you can assist with our enquiries then please call us.”
Man Arrested, Released on Bail
An 81-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of stalking. He has since been released on conditional bail as investigations continue.
