Teen Duo Arrested After Fatal Luton Stabbing
Two teens have been hauled in on suspicion of murder after a young man died following a stabbing in Luton.
Deadly Incident on Humberstone Road
Police were scrambled to Humberstone Road at about 6pm on Sunday, 31 August, after reports of a heated clash between three people. A man in his 20s was rushed to hospital with stab wounds but tragically died shortly after. His identity has not yet been revealed.
Two 17-Year-Olds in Custody
The Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit (MCU) swiftly arrested a 17-year-old boy on suspicion of murder. Later, a 17-year-old girl was also detained following a raid on a Luton address. Both are still being questioned by detectives.
Police Plea as Investigation Unfolds
Detective Inspector Adam Bridges said: “We are working hard to establish the events that led to this altercation and the loss of a young man’s life. Our thoughts are with his family, who are being supported by specialist officers. We would urge anyone with information, dashcam or CCTV footage from the area to get in touch immediately.”
