Bookies Robbed After Threatening Note Demands Cash
Staff at the S&D Bookmakers in the Deeping Centre, Godsey Lane, faced a shocking robbery. A man handed them a threatening handwritten note demanding money. When no cash was given immediately, he jumped over the counter, grabbed an unknown amount of money from the till, and fled the scene.
Suspect Description and Getaway Details
- White male, around 5ft 8in tall
- Medium build with short brown hair
- Wearing jeans and a blue and red jacket, possibly an anorak
- May have escaped on a push bike heading towards the nearby petrol station
Police Hunt Continues
Officers are actively searching the area this evening for the suspect. They urge anyone who was nearby and may have seen the man or caught him on dashcam or phone footage to come forward.
