Police nab graffiti vandal in Dover Road crackdown!

Patrol spots wall-spraying culprit

On the evening of Wednesday 9 March 2022, officers from the town’s Community Policing Team caught a 25-year-old man red-handed spraying a wall on Dover Road. The suspect, from the Folkestone area, was promptly taken into custody on suspicion of criminal damage.

Quick action leads to arrest

Detective Inspector Sheena Barrell of the Folkestone Community Safety Team said:

Kent Police is well aware of how frustrating it is for people to see this kind of damage in the town, and the impact on residents and businesses whose properties are vandalised. Officers on patrol are always on the lookout for suspicious behaviour and I am pleased that their quick actions on this occasion have led to an immediate arrest.”
