Five Men Arrested Over Alleged Brighton Rape

Police in Brighton have swooped, arresting five men following a reported rape at a city property.

Woman in Her 20s Reports Attack in Montpelier Place

Sussex Police confirmed they were alerted early Sunday morning (February 9) by a woman in her 20s who claimed she was raped overnight at a home in Montpelier Place, Brighton.

The victim is now being supported by specialist officers as the investigation kicks off.

Suspects Held in Custody as Enquiries Continue

Five men aged 38, 32, 32, 26, and 26 have been arrested on suspicion of rape. All remain in police custody while detectives dig deeper.

“Enquiries are ongoing to understand the full circumstances and no further information is available at this time,”

said a spokeswoman for Sussex Police.
