Police Swarm Rise Park After Disturbing Event
At around 8 p.m. on Sunday, January 29, 2023, a troubling incident unfolded in an alleyway off Bestwood Park Drive, near the Brownlow Drive junction in Rise Park. Nottinghamshire Police have since ramped up their presence in the area as investigations continue.
Detective Inspector Promises Full-Scale Hunt for Culprit
Detective Inspector Craig Hall of Nottinghamshire Police said: “Incidents like this are incredibly rare but deeply concerning for the public. We have a large team dedicated to this investigation and are doing everything possible to find the person responsible.”
Special officers are providing support to the girl involved and her family during this distressing time, while patrols have increased to reassure local residents.
Police Urge Public to Come Forward with Information
The force is calling on anyone who saw suspicious behaviour around the alley or captured CCTV or dashcam footage to get in touch immediately.
“Speak to our officers if you have concerns or information. Please report anything out of the ordinary and help us keep the community safe,” urged DI Hall.
