Second Car Arson Sparks Alarm in Sevenoaks

Kent Police launched a probe after a car was set ablaze on a driveway in Sevenoaks’ Garth Road on the night of October 14, 2020.

Officers rushed to the scene at around 9:10pm and worked with firefighters to extinguish the flames.

Suspects Seen Fleeing Scene with Burning Clothes

Detective Constable Tony Hatcher of Tonbridge CID revealed: “This is the second suspected arson in this location. Two men were spotted running along Garth Road during the fire, with one possibly wearing burning garments.”

He added: “We’re asking for anyone who’s seen burnt clothing or has unexplained burn injuries since the incident to come forward.”

Police Hunt Dashcam Footage and Witnesses

Police want locals and motorists who were in the area between 7pm and 10pm to check dashcams, home CCTV, and doorbell cameras for suspicious activity.
