Urgent Search Launched for Missing Hook Woman with Dementia
Police and friends are desperately hunting for Margaret Lee, 75, who vanished from Nursery Close in Hook at around 5:30pm on Monday, June 27. Concern is mounting as Margaret has not returned home.
Worried Friends and Specialists Join Forces
Margaret, who suffers from dementia, often takes short walks but usually returns within 20 minutes. She was last seen wearing beige trousers, a pale blue shirt, and carrying a handbag. She is described as white, 5ft 5ins tall, with white hair in a bob.

Specialist teams searched Hook and nearby areas overnight and are continuing the hunt today.
Neighbours and Police Plead for Help
Neighbour Anita Mathur said: “Our lovely neighbour is still missing after an overnight search. Those in the Hook area please keep checking your gardens and outbuildings.”
Inspector Richard Lane added: “Thanks to everyone who has shared our appeal so far. Sadly, Margaret is still missing and we are worried she has been out alone for a long time. We urge Hook residents to remain vigilant. If you spot a woman matching Margaret’s description, please call 101 immediately.”
