Police Officers Hurt in Erith Crash – Both in Hospital

Marked Police Car Collides on Belmont Road

Two police officers are recovering in hospital after a crash involving their marked vehicle on Belmont Road, Erith. The smash happened just after 4pm on Tuesday, 3 August.

Emergency Teams Rush to Scene

Officers and London Fire Brigade attended swiftly. A male and a female police officer were treated at the scene before being rushed to hospital. Two occupants of the other car involved were also treated and taken to hospital.

Investigation Underway – No Life-Threatening Injuries

Thankfully, none of the injuries are believed to be life-threatening. The Met Police traffic command has cordoned off the area and launched a full investigation into the collision.
