High-Tech Heist in Canterbury: Apple Devices Stolen

Kent Police are hunting after a daring burglary at a commercial premises in Gordon Road, Canterbury. Thieves struck between 5pm on Wednesday 19 January and 6.30am on Friday 21 January 2022, making off with a camera, a TV, and two pricey Apple computers.

Tracking Tech Helps Nab Suspect

Thanks to a tracking device on one of the stolen Apple computers, officers pinpointed its location. On the morning of Friday 4 March, a 48-year-old man from Margate was arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods.

Massive Cannabis Haul Found at Suspect’s Home

When police searched the man’s address, they uncovered a massive stash of herbal cannabis valued at £11,000. He was slapped with a second arrest for possession of drugs with intent to supply.

The suspect has since been released but remains under investigation as Kent Police continue their probe.
