Kent Police swooped on Friday 19 April 2024 at around 2.20pm after reports surfaced of catapults being used near Putlands Sports Centre. Locals feared for animals and vehicles as the weapons reportedly caused serious nuisance.
Quick Police Action Nabs Suspects
Officers from the Tunbridge Wells Community Safety Unit in an unmarked car tracked down the culprits within an hour on Mascalls Court Road. Two catapults, 62 ball bearings, and metal nuts were seized in a swift search.
