Tragedy Strikes After Takeoff
Ukraine International Airlines has suspended all flights to Tehran indefinitely. This follows the crash of a Boeing 737 shortly after takeoff from the Iranian capital. The airline promises to do everything possible to uncover the cause of the disaster.
Three Brits Among the Victims
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Vadym Prystaiko confirmed that three British nationals were on board the doomed flight. Authorities are still investigating the crash, trying to piece together what went wrong.
Zelenskiy Orders Criminal Probe
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy has ordered prosecutors to launch a full criminal investigation into the incident. There were 176 people aboard the plane when it crashed.

Foreign Minister Prystaiko detailed the passengers’ nationalities on the ill-fated flight:

- 63 Canadians
- 11 Ukrainians
- 10 Swedes
- 4 Afghans
- 3 Germans
- 3 British
Ukraine International Airlines will soon release a full passenger list as investigations continue.
