A wild police chase in Wollaton, Nottinghamshire, ended in pure comedy as one suspect desperately tried to hide in a wheelie bin – but it backfired spectacularly. The drama kicked off in the early hours of 12 November after officers spotted a suspicious car that just wouldn’t stop.
High-Speed Chase Ends in Garden Smash
The driver floored it, sparking a nail-biting pursuit through the streets. The chase came to an abrupt halt when the car crashed into a garden driveway. Two men, aged 30 and 33, bolted from the wreck and ran for it. Police caught one almost immediately, but the other leapt over fences and vanished into neighbourhood backyards.
