Serious Crash Near Thame Sparks Emergency Rescue

Emergency crews scrambled to a nasty crash on the A4129 near Thame at 9:40pm on December 10, 2025. The smash happened close to the Windmill Road junction, between Thame and Kingsey.

Trapped Driver Rescued by Firefighters

Firefighters arrived to find a female driver pinned inside her car, injured and unable to escape. Paramedics from South Central Ambulance Service teamed up with the Thames Valley Air Ambulance to launch a rapid rescue.

Victim Airlifted as Police Probe Begins

Fire crews worked frantically to free the woman before handing her over to waiting medics. She was airlifted to hospital for urgent treatment. Thames Valley Police have now taken charge of the scene and opened an investigation into the cause of the crash.
