Just after 7pm on December 18, a Pizza Hut delivery driver in a silver Ford Focus ploughed into a stationary silver Ford Focus outside the Gosport Spiritual Church. The force of the crash was so intense, both cars were written off on the spot.
Driver Escapes Serious Injury Thanks to Airbag
Miraculously, the driver walked away without serious harm. The airbag deployed just in time to stop him smashing into the windscreen as his vehicle slammed into the parked car’s rear.
Shop Workers Describe the Smash as Earth-Shaking
“It felt like the earth moved,” said one nearby shop worker. “There was a massive crashing of metal. We really thought the driver was badly hurt.”
The crash has left two silver Ford Focus cars totalled and locals shaken by the dramatic incident on a quiet Sunday night.
