Hay Bale Arson Sparks Police Hunt on Isle of Wight

Police are on the lookout after hay bales were deliberately set on fire at a National Trust car park on the Isle of Wight.

Flames at Compton Farm and Compton Bay

Officers say two hay bales were torched at the entrance to Compton Farm around 11pm on 20 April. Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service quickly doused the flames.

This follows another blaze at Compton Bay car park on Sunday night, where several hay bales were also set alight between 9pm and 9.45pm.

Police Plea: Spot Anything Suspicious?

Investigators want to hear from anyone who saw suspicious activity near either site. If you have any info, don’t stay silent.
