Cunning Cartridges Caper at Swanley Asda
CCTV snaps have been released as cops hunt two men caught stealing pricey computer ink cartridges from Asda in Swanley.
Foiled But Free: Thieves Nab £1,000 Worth of Ink
On Monday 11 May 2020, just after 4.15pm, security stopped two blokes attempting to walk out with over £1,000 worth of ink cartridges on London Road. They made no attempt to pay, and although the goods were recovered, the suspects slipped away before police arrived.
Linked to January Assault Theft
Detectives say this latest caper is connected to an earlier raid at the same shop on 12 January 2020, where a staff member was assaulted after challenging a man and woman pushing a trolley packed with cartridges worth more than £800.
