Major Search Update in Hunt for Missing 79-Year-Old William Lee
Police are stepping up the search for William Lee after a breakthrough in the case. Officers are urging the public to come forward with any information on William’s movements over the last two days.
Search Expands Near Kingsbury and Middleton Lakes
The search team has launched a detailed hunt around Kingsbury and Middleton Lakes, including their shores, following a key find. A member of the public spotted William’s dog, Daisy, in the area on 18 April. Thankfully, the dog is healthy and now with family.
Police Plea for Clues to Find Missing Pensioner
Detective Chief Inspector Ash Farrington from Staffordshire Police said: “We are still putting all our efforts into finding William safe and well and so we are utilising specialist search dogs to help us target that search. We continue to support the family during this stressful time and I ask for anyone that may know anything about William’s movements in the past 48 hours to come forward and potentially help our efforts.”
