A notorious sex offender has been locked up after trying to lure a child into performing a sexual act at Hull Paragon station. British Transport Police (BTP) launched a swift investigation that led to his arrest.

Ben Puckering, 39, with no fixed address, was sentenced to 18 months at Hull Crown Court. He pleaded guilty to inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.

Chilling Incident Caught on 7th December

On 7th December last year, Puckering, who uses a wheelchair, approached a 14-year-old boy passing through the station with friends. He offered cash in return for a sex act. The terrified teenager immediately reported the sick proposal to station security.
