Flybe Goes Bust Again: Flights Grounded Across UK and Europe

Flybe has plunged into administration for the second time, grounding all scheduled flights. Routes from Belfast City and Heathrow to destinations across the UK, plus Amsterdam and Geneva, are now cancelled.

The UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) broke the news at 4 a.m., urging passengers not to head to airports — no flights will be taking off.

Chaos for Flyers: Major Routes Cancelled

  • Flights from Birmingham to Belfast, Geneva, Amsterdam, and Edinburgh are all cancelled.
  • Passengers must organise travel themselves via other airlines, trains, or coaches.

The CAA is on hand to provide advice and support to stranded travellers. Info on refunds and travel insurance claims is available on the CAA website.
