Car Crashes Into Shell Garage in Wickham
Chaos hit Wickham on Friday night as a car careered off the A32 roundabout and smashed into the Shell Petrol Station.
Emergency Services Rush to Scene
At around 10pm, police, fire crews, and ambulance teams swarmed the site. The collision caused part of the garage building to collapse, forcing officials to cordon off the forecourt.
Driver Hospitalised, Garage Shut
The male driver suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene by South Central Ambulance Services. Recovery teams later removed the blue car from the wreckage.
Damage Assessment Underway
Structural engineers have been called in to inspect the building. The garage will stay closed until it is safely repaired. Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the smash.
