Tragic crash on A36 claims life of 23-year-old biker

A young motorcyclist from Romsey has died after a horror smash on the A36 near Landford. The 23-year-old was riding a black Aprilia 125 when it collided with a red Nissan Juke on Thursday night around 5:45pm.

Floral tributes left at crash site

Friends and family have paid their respects with floral tributes at the scene. Wiltshire Police are now desperate for witnesses to come forward as they investigate the fatal collision just off Stock Lane.

Police urge witnesses to speak up

Emergency services including police and paramedics attended the crash, shutting the road for several hours while they carried out investigations.

PC Philip Tatum from the Tri-Force Roads Policing Unit said: “We want to hear from anyone who was in the Landford area at the time. If you saw the collision or either vehicle beforehand, please get in touch.”
