Road Chaos in Crookhorn After Teen Collision – Air Ambulance Scrambles to Scene
A key road in Crookhorn is still shut after a serious crash this afternoon. Emergency crews rushed to Crookhorn Lane just after midday following reports of a collision involving a local boy.
Air Ambulance Lands Near School
The air ambulance touched down nearby on the grounds of Oaklands School. Medics swiftly assessed the injured teen before airlifting him to Southampton General Hospital’s specialist neurological unit.
Teen Suffers Serious Injuries
The 17-year-old, believed to be a student at Crookhorn College, suffered a serious skull fracture and multiple injuries. Emergency services remain at the scene where a coat was left abandoned in the middle of the road.
Crookhorn Lane remains closed as investigations continue. Drivers are urged to avoid the area and seek alternative routes.
