A key road in Crookhorn is still shut after a serious crash this afternoon. Emergency crews rushed to Crookhorn Lane just after midday following reports of a collision involving a local boy.
Air Ambulance Lands Near School
The air ambulance touched down nearby on the grounds of Oaklands School. Medics swiftly assessed the injured teen before airlifting him to southampton/" title="Southampton" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Southampton General Hospital’s specialist neurological unit.
Teen Suffers Serious Injuries
The 17-year-old, believed to be a student at Crookhorn College, suffered a serious skull fracture and multiple injuries. Emergency services remain at the scene where a coat was left abandoned in the middle of the road.
