Tragic Death of Wiltshire Biker Sparks Heartfelt Family Tribute
The family of Roy Baker, 22, have paid an emotional tribute after he was killed in a road smash in Sherfield English. Roy, from West Dean, Wiltshire, died when his black Honda motorbike collided with a beige Mini on the A27 Salisbury Road.
Crash Details
The collision happened around 3.15pm on Sunday, 7 April, as both vehicles headed towards Whiteparish. Emergency services attended the scene but tragically Roy could not be saved.
Family Pays Moving Tribute
Roy’s loved ones released a statement, describing him as “the most kind-hearted, loved, amazing son, brother and best uncle” to his nephew and niece. They said:
“Our Roy Boy – the biggest ray of sunshine in our lives. He loved life, his family, horses, and his loyal dog Lewis. We are so proud to have had him in our lives. Gone, but it’s not goodbye – it’s see you later, Our Boy. Xx”
The family also thanked those who stopped to help Roy at the crash scene, saying: “It means a lot.”
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Officers are still keen to hear from anyone who saw the accident, especially a vehicle that slowed down near the crash and then drove off towards Romsey.
