Heartbreaking Crash in North London
A devastating accident on Green Lanes, Enfield, has rocked a community after an eight-year-old boy was fatally struck by a car on Friday evening. The child was rushed to hospital but sadly died despite emergency treatment.
Father Collapses at Scene, Witness Shocked
A witness, the manager of the nearby Anokhi Indian restaurant, revealed chilling details. “His father collapsed in shock and medics were desperately trying to revive him on the pavement,” he told the Evening Standard.
The witness added, “Our waitress saw the whole thing as she stepped off the bus. The staff returned traumatised and eyes full of tears when they learned he was the dad’s only child.”
Police Launch Serious Investigation
The Metropolitan Police confirmed they were called to the scene at 6:43pm on 28 April. The driver stopped and no arrests have been made. The Serious Collision Investigation Unit is now probing the crash.
