Nearly 300 guests packed the Grand Hotel in Brighton on Tuesday, 13 December, for a glitzy awards bash celebrating South East England’s top tourism businesses. The White Cliffs Visitor Information Centre scooped the Bronze Award for Visitor Information Service of the Year.

Top Marks for Face-to-Face and Online Service

The award honours providers delivering outstanding service both in person and online. Dover’s Visitor Information Service, based at Dover Museum, impressed judges with their top-notch hospitality and expert advice.

“We congratulate everyone at the White Cliffs Visitor Information Centre on achieving this award. We are delighted that the excellent service and hard work of the staff have been recognised in this way,” said Cllr Trevor Bartlett, Leader of Dover District Council.
