Massive Fire Erupts at Slough’s Exton Apartments
Emergency services scrambled to tackle a fierce blaze that broke out just before 8pm on Saturday in The Grove area of Slough. Fire crews from Slough, Langley, Maidenhead, Windsor, Buckinghamshire, and London rushed to the scene.
Big Team Battling Blaze
The Royal Berkshire Fire Service first responded but quickly called in backup from London and Buckinghamshire to help contain the flames at Exton Apartments. In total, eight fire engines and around 40 firefighters and officers are battling the fire.
Road Closures Hit Local Area
The Grove is currently closed in both directions as emergency crews work to get the situation under control. Commuters are urged to avoid the area and seek alternative routes.
