Man Has Lucky Escape
British Transport Police and paramedics from South East Coast Ambulance Service rushed to the scene, which was quickly cordoned off by station staff. Despite the terrifying fall, the man escaped without injury.
A spokesman for British Transport Police said: “A man had a lucky escape after falling between a train and the platform around 1:40pm this afternoon. He fell into the gap but did not suffer any injuries.”
