Man Hospitalised With Life-Altering Injuries

A man, whose age has not been disclosed, was rushed to hospital suffering what police describe as “life-changing injuries.”

British Transport Police confirmed the incident isn’t being treated as suspicious.

District Line Hit with Delays

The District line saw partial suspensions between Barking and Upminster while crews cleared the scene and removed the injured man from the tracks.

Elsewhere on the line, services ran as normal, easing commuter disruption.

British Transport Police Comment

“Officers were called at around 9am on Sunday (30 November) to reports of a casualty on the tracks at Dagenham East railway station. Officers responded with paramedics, and a man was taken to hospital with life-changing injuries. The incident is not being treated as suspicious.”
