An 83-year-old woman was left terrified after four masked men smashed their way into her west London home, threatened her and stole cash and jewellery during a two-minute raid. The gang, dressed in black and wearing balaclavas, targeted the elderly woman’s home in Judge Heath Lane, Hayes, on July 29. CCTV captured the moment the four intruders burst into the property while the woman was asleep. Footage shows the victim waking and attempting to get to her feet as one of the masked men, who appeared to be holding a blade, moved towards her and ordered her to remain quiet.
Gang ransacked home in two minutes
The intruders then began searching through the woman’s belongings as she remained inside the property. The raid lasted around two minutes, during which the gang stole jewellery and approximately £500 in cash. The four men then fled from the house. Metropolitan Police officers were called to Judge Heath Lane at 9.57pm following reports of a burglary. By the time officers arrived, the suspects had already escaped. 
Police hunt four masked suspects
Detectives have launched an investigation and are pursuing a number of lines of enquiry in an effort to identify those responsible. No arrests have been made. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers were called at 9.57pm on July 29 following reports of a burglary at an address in Judge Heath Lane. Anyone who witnessed suspicious activity in the area or has information which could assist detectives is being urged to contact police.
