Motorcyclist Killed in Horror Crash on North Circular Near Wembley
A biker has tragically died after a serious smash on the North Circular (A406) near Wembley on Wednesday afternoon.
Emergency Services Rush to Scene
Police were called at 3:34pm on 27 August following reports of a collision on the busy A406. Officers from the Metropolitan Police and paramedics from the London Ambulance Service arrived quickly.
Despite their best efforts, the rider was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist family liaison officers.
“Police were called at 15.34hrs on Wednesday, 27 August to reports of a road traffic collision on the North Circular A406, near Wembley. Officers and the London Ambulance Service arrived and found a motorcyclist injured. Despite the best efforts of the emergency services, the motorbike rider sadly died at the scene. His next-of-kin have been informed and will be supported by specially trained police family liaison officers. At this early stage in the investigation, it is believed no other vehicle was involved.”
Investigation Underway – Police Follow Up Leads
Specialist detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit have launched an inquiry to uncover the full circumstances behind the fatal crash.
They are urging anyone who witnessed the collision or has dash cam footage to come forward.
