Serious Crash Shuts M11 Near Harlow – Woman Seriously Injured
Emergency services are at the scene of a nasty smash on the London-bound M11 near Harlow. The collision involved four cars, including an Audi, BMW, and VW Passat, and happened just after 10.10pm on Saturday 26 September.
Passenger in Audi Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries
A female passenger in the Audi has been badly hurt, with injuries described as serious and potentially life-threatening. Paramedics are treating her at the scene.
Hit-and-Run Driver on the Loose
One of the four vehicles fled without stopping. Police have no description of the getaway car but urgently want to trace the driver. They also want to talk to anyone who saw how the Audi and another vehicle were being driven right before the crash.
Road Closures & Witness Appeal
The southbound M11 is closed between junction 8 for Stansted and junction 7 for Harlow as officers carry out investigations. The closure is expected to last into Sunday morning. Drivers are urged to avoid the area and plan alternative routes.
