Drivers heading clockwise must follow the hollow triangle diversion symbol:

1. Exit at Junction 6 (Godstone Interchange).
2. Take the 4th exit onto the A22 towards Croydon.
3. Continue on A22 to Purley.
4. At Purley Cross (A22/A23 junction), turn left onto A23 heading to Brighton.
5. Follow A23 south through Coulsdon, then turn left onto M23 towards Brighton.
6. Rejoin M25 at M23 Junction 8 / M25 Junction 7 towards Heathrow.

Anti-clockwise Traffic Routed via Reigate and Redhill

Those travelling anti-clockwise should spot the hollow square diversion symbol:

1. Exit M25 at Junction 8.
2. Take the 3rd exit onto A217 southbound towards Reigate.
3. Follow A25 towards Redhill.
4. At A25/A23 roundabout in Redhill, turn right onto A23 towards Gatwick.
5. At the next roundabout, turn left onto A25 towards Godstone.
6. Pass through Godstone and continue straight at the mini roundabout.
7. Rejoin M25 at Junction 6 (Godstone Interchange) towards Sevenoaks.
