Two-Car Smash Closes Kennel Hill Near Goodwood
A nasty two-car crash wrecked both vehicles and sparked delays on Kennel Hill near Goodwood on Friday afternoon.
Emergency Services Race to Scene
At around 4.30pm on June 10, police and emergency crews were called to a serious collision between New Road and Pook Lane. Sussex Roads Police Constable Glen McArthur shared shocking images of the mangled wrecks on social media, warning of a tough night ahead.
“It’s going to be one of those late shifts,” said Constable McArthur. “Kennel Hill near Goodwood is currently closed due to a serious traffic accident. Expect delays if you’re heading to the racetrack.”
Delays Hit Racegoers as Road Blocks Clear
Kennel Hill was partially blocked in both directions, causing chaos for drivers in the area. The road finally reopened at 6.48pm after the emergency response teams cleared the scene.
