Since 1803, Newhaven Lifeboat Station has patrolled the treacherous waters from Beachy Head to Brighton. The station operates a state-of-the-art Severn class all-weather lifeboat. With 19 medals for gallantry awarded to its crew, this is no ordinary volunteer opportunity – it’s a badge of honour.
