Tragic Collision Between Lorry and Moped
The horror unfolded around 6.20pm on Tuesday, 21 January, when a lorry and a moped collided on the westbound side, just before the Horn Lane junction. The moped rider, a man believed to be in his 30s, died instantly at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.
Lorry Driver Stays, No Arrests Made
The lorry driver stopped after the crash and is currently assisting police. No arrests have been made as investigations continue.
