Pan Fire Sparks Flat Blaze in Canterbury Street

Kent Fire and Rescue rushed to Canterbury Street flats after a pan of oil overheated and burst into flames. Two fire engines and teams in breathing gear tackled the blaze with main jets and hose reels. A high-powered fan cleared thick smoke from the property.

One Man Treated for Smoke Inhalation

Firefighters led one man out of the flats suffering suspected smoke inhalation. He was handed over to SECAmb paramedics. Thankfully, no other injuries were reported.
