Pensioner fights for life after horror crash in Sevenoaks!
Emergency crews rushed to Mount Harry Road at the junction with the A225 after a 79-year-old man was hit by a car while crossing the road.
The smash happened at around 1.25pm on Tuesday, 12 August. The victim was struck by a red Mazda, which stopped at the scene.
Paramedics from the South East Coast Ambulance Service treated the pensioner before rushing him to hospital, where his condition remains critical.
Police Launch Urgent Appeal
The Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is leading the probe and has called on locals and motorists to come forward.
Kent Police want anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage from the area to help piece together what happened.
“We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who has dashcam footage from the area, to get in touch. Even the smallest detail could assist our investigation.”
