Tragic Crash Claims Life of Female Biker in Portsmouth
Police are desperate for witnesses after a woman in her 40s died in a horror motorbike crash this afternoon in Portsmouth. The South London rider was on a black Suzuki Bandit along the A3 London Road near The George Inn when tragedy struck.
Fatal Collision Leaves Rider Dead
The crash happened just before 3pm on Monday, May 2. Her bike hit the central kerb and she was thrown from her machine. Emergency services raced to the scene, with a rapid response paramedic and ambulance crew performing life-saving treatment on the roadside.
Rushed to Hospital but Couldn’t Be Saved
The woman was rushed to QA Hospital, but despite all efforts, she was pronounced dead. Police are urging anyone who saw the moments leading up to the crash to come forward and help piece together what happened.
