Woman Targeted in Shocking Andover Bike Incident
A young woman was harassed and indecently exposed to by a man on a bike near the Andover Down roundabout last Friday afternoon.
The Shocking Details
The victim, in her 20s, was walking along the path parallel to the A3093 between London Road and Picket Twenty around 3.55pm to 4.15pm on 17 March. Suddenly, a man on a red mountain bike cycled alongside her, making inappropriate remarks before exposing himself.
Thankfully, she managed to flee and alert the authorities.
Police Describe Suspect
- White male, slim build
- Late 30s to early 40s
- Facial hair on chin
- Two front teeth missing
- Wearing black jogging bottoms, black sweatshirt, and black cap
- Riding a red mountain bike
Police Appeal for Witnesses
PC Steve Rogerson of Andover’s High Harm Team said, “This was a disturbing incident and we are keen to find out who this man is. Were you in the area around that time? Did you see a man matching this description? Any information could help our enquiries.”
