Eight-year-old police dog Jake wasn’t fooled. He showed interest in the steering wheel, which felt unusually soft and had a faulty horn. When officers took a closer look, they removed the centre of the wheel to find a sock stuffed with cannabis, bags of cocaine, and a stash of cash.
Driver jailed after cheeky concealment fails
Driver Angel Yankov, 32, with no fixed address, was arrested and charged with possession with intent to supply. At Lewes Crown Court on April 9, he was sentenced to 20 months in prison and banned from driving for 14 months.
