Kent Police have released a CCTV image as they hunt a man linked to a serious assault in Broadstairs.

Violence Erupts Outside The Prince Albert

The drama unfolded just after 10pm on Saturday, 28 February 2026, outside The Prince Albert pub on Broadstairs High Street. The victim reportedly asked three strangers for directions to a taxi rank. What started as a simple question quickly turned nasty. A heated verbal row broke out before the victim was violently attacked, leaving him with serious injuries.

Officers and paramedics rushed to the scene, with the victim taken to a nearby hospital for urgent treatment. Now, detectives have released a CCTV still of a man they believe holds vital info.
