Tragic Crash at Blofield-Yarmouth Road Claims Young Man’s Life
Police rushed to the Blofield-Yarmouth Road junction at 4.40pm on Thursday, December 1, after a deadly smash between two grey vehicles.
Deadly Collision Details
A grey Vauxhall Corsa, heading east towards Great Yarmouth, tried to turn right into Blofield. At the same moment, a grey Land Rover Range Rover Evoque sped westbound towards Norwich along the 50mph stretch just before the road splits into two lanes.
The two vehicles collided. The 20-year-old driver of the Corsa suffered fatal injuries and died on Saturday, December 3, police confirmed.
The Land Rover driver escaped with minor injuries.
Police Launch Investigation, Appeal for Witnesses
Officers are preparing a file for the coroner and are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the crash or the driving before it, or who has dashcam footage.
