M11 Shut After Serious Multi-Vehicle Smash Near Stansted
The M11 in Essex is closed southbound between Junction 10 (near Duxford) and Junction 8 (close to London Stansted Airport) following a severe multi-vehicle collision. Essex Police and other emergency services are on the scene.
Follow These Diversions to Avoid Delays
Drivers are advised to follow the solid black square diversion sign. Exit the M11 at J10 and take the A505 towards Royston.
At the roundabout, take the first exit onto the A10 towards Royston. Continue through Buckland, Chipping, and Buntingford until you reach the A120 roundabout.
Take the first exit onto the A120, pass through Little Hadham, and rejoin the M11 southbound at Junction 8.
Expect Long Delays on Both Sides
Significant delays are building on the southbound and northbound carriageways due to the crash. If you’re travelling through the area this evening, allow plenty of extra time for your journey.
