Massive Flat Blaze on Millionaire’s Row in West London

Eight fire engines and around 60 firefighters rushed to tackle a fierce flat fire on Warrington Crescent early this morning. The London Fire Brigade (LFB) was called at 6.18am after reports of people missing inside the burning property, believed to be flats.

Nine Rescued, Dozens Escape Smoke

A LFB spokesman confirmed nine people were rescued by crews wearing breathing apparatus. Four were saved from the third floor, four from the second floor, and one from the first floor. Another 15 residents managed to flee the building before firefighters arrived. Paramedics assessed all for smoke inhalation.

Fire Under Control in Just Over an Hour

Firefighters from Paddington and nearby stations battled the blaze, bringing it under control by 7.40am. The cause of the fire remains unknown and is currently under investigation.
