Drug Dealer Caught with Gun and Class A Drugs Sentenced

Dennis Williams, 19, with no fixed address, was sentenced at Bristol Crown Court on Thursday, 23 November, after pleading guilty to serious drug offences.

Multiple Arrests and Massive Drug Haul

Williams was first arrested last November during a police crackdown on drug dealers but was released on bail. In April, cops struck again, catching him carrying class A drugs, a phone used to organise drug deals, and a lock knife.

Police later searched an address linked to Williams and found a gun, ammunition, and more drugs. The total value of the seized stash topped £12,000.

Police Warn of Danger to Communities

“The length of this sentence shows how serious these crimes are and the huge impact they have on our communities,” said PC 1 Stevenson.

“Although guns are thankfully rare in Avon and Somerset, their presence is deeply concerning because of the serious harm they can cause.”

“We are determined to keep the public safe by using every power available to stop people from coming to harm.”
