Massive Blaze Hits Islington Tower Block
Ten fire engines and 70 firefighters have rushed to tackle a fierce fire at Godfrey House, a tower block on Bath Street, Islington. The emergency call came just before 6pm on Sunday.

Resident Spots Smoke Four Floors Below
A resident on the 19th floor alerted authorities after smelling burning smoke coming from four floors beneath. Multiple people are believed to still be inside the block.

- An Aerial Ladder Platform was deployed immediately as part of emergency response for high-rise fires.
- Firefighters secured a water supply and set up the dry rising main.
- The firefighting lift was secured and a bridgehead established to tackle the blaze up close.
